"The day will be what you make it, so rise, like the sun, and burn."
-William C. Hannan
Born and raised in the small town of Berrien Center in Southwestern Michigan, I've always been surrounded by lush rolling farm land, small inland lakes and even the lapping shores of Lake Michigan. Here my love of the outdoors, horseback riding and basically all domesticated animals flourished.
I attended Berrien Springs High School, where I was always finding an excuse to be in the art studio. I graduated in 2011, after which I started attending Alma College, located smack dab in the middle of the mitten.
At Alma, I've been most involved in being a Resident Assistant, but I am also working to finish a Bachelors of Arts in Art and Design with a Minor in Psychology. I am also a founding member and current competitor in the college's Equestrian Club.
After Alma, I plan to take a year off to spend time with my family, continue my journey through art, and research master's programs; I am looking into a Master's in Higher Education Administration with an emphasis in Counseling.
